On the evening of April 19, in Giong Trom district, the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held a launching ceremony for Workers' Month, in response to the Month of Action on Labor Safety and Hygiene; and honored outstanding party members who are workers in enterprises in 2025.
Attending the program were Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Mr. Tran Thanh Lam - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Chairman of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor - said that in recent times, the Trade Unions at all levels in the province have had many practical activities to care for the material and spiritual life of workers; protect their legitimate and legal rights.
Trade unions at all levels organize activities towards the grassroots level, with many programs to support livelihoods, give gifts, and build houses for union members, workers, poor household owners, near-poor households, and those in difficult circumstances according to the plan of the Forward - Workers and the program to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.
Trade unions at all levels promote the creative labor emulation movement, improve productivity and labor quality in units and enterprises.

Chairman of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor Nguyen Phuc Linh emphasized that, entering a new stage of development, union members and workers, who are directly contributing to production, business, and services, promote the spirit of creative labor, master technology, improve skills, contribute to promoting green growth, digital transformation, and sustainable development.
At the program, the organizing committee honored 50 party members who are workers and laborers in enterprises for the third time in 2025. In addition, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and 8 individuals who have made outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good labor and building a strong Trade Union organization in 2024; honored and rewarded collectives and individuals in the movement "Green, clean, beautiful, occupational safety and hygiene" and the emulation movement "Good at public work - Good at home work" in 2024.
In addition, 7 houses (including 3 Trade Union Shelters and 4 charity houses) were presented with symbols and gifts to people in difficult housing circumstances, each worth 60 million VND and presented gifts to 285 union members and workers in difficult circumstances (each gift includes 500,000 VND in cash).
