On December 31st, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance issued a notice on the payment of January 2026 deferred salary in Ho Chi Minh City.
Accordingly, during the New Year holiday of 2026, civil servants and public employees are entitled to 4 consecutive days off from Thursday, January 1, 2026 to the end of Sunday, January 4, 2026, so Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance announces the schedule for pension and social insurance allowance payment in January 2026 as follows:
For cash forms: Ho Chi Minh City Post Office, Binh Duong Central Post Office, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Central Post Office will organize payment on the morning of January 10, 2026 at all payment points; from January 12, 2026 to the end of January 25, 2026 at the Post Offices of the Central/District Post Office.
For non-cash forms: Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance will transfer money to the beneficiary's account from January 5, 2026 (the first working day of 2026).
Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance requests beneficiaries to open accounts and register to receive pensions and social insurance allowances through personal accounts to reduce travel time, ensure quick and convenient payments; and at the same time contribute to effectively implementing the application of the National Population Database and implementing the policy of paying pensions and social insurance allowances without cash as directed by the Government.
