According to the leader of Phu Yen Provincial Federation of Labor, in the spring of Giap Thin 2024, the Provincial Federation of Labor took advantage of mobilized resources to visit and give gifts to nearly 1,000 union members, workers, and fishermen in difficult circumstances and with serious illnesses with a total amount of nearly 750 million VND.
In particular, the organization of the Tet Sum Vay program gave 671 gifts, worth 548 million VND; visited 62 policy families, families with difficult circumstances in Ca Lui commune, Son Hoa district and Hoa An commune, Phu Hoa district; visited 25 units and enterprises on duty during Tet... Trade unions at all levels in the province have taken care of union members and workers with a total amount of nearly 12 billion VND. Up to now, the Tet Sum Vay seasons of the Trade Union have left a special mark in the hearts of union members every Tet holiday.
For union members and workers to have a joyful and meaningful Tet
Following the previous Trade Union Tet seasons, in the plan to take care of union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty in 2025, the Phu Yen Provincial Labor Federation has set the motto "All union members and workers have a happy, meaningful, warm and united Tet". The goal set by the Phu Yen Trade Union is to have about more than 4,000 union members and workers in difficult circumstances who really need to be taken care of during Tet.
Mr. Dang Ngoc Anh - Chairman of Phu Yen Labor Federation - said that for the provincial Labor Federation, there are 3 activities, focusing on the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan An Dang"; the program "Tet Union Market 2025" online for 2,000 union members and employees at unions with many enterprises; allocating funds and mobilizing sources to support Tet gifts from 500,000 VND - 1,000,000 VND/union member in difficult circumstances, consulting and coordinating with the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to organize visits to give gifts, encourage and wish Tet to union members and employees with the participation of leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly, Vietnam Fatherland Front, and Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
For Trade Unions at all levels, timely communication about the Trade Union's Tet care activities on the media so that union members, units and local businesses can understand.
