On July 22, Ms. Tran Tu Nhien, Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation (CLF) and the working delegation visited and worked with grassroots trade unions (CDCS) at Tra Noc 1 Industrial Park, Binh Thuy Ward.
The delegation visited the Trade Union of MF Vietnam Co., Ltd. and the Trade Union of Seavina Joint Stock Company.
The Trade Union of MF Vietnam Co., Ltd. currently has 593 union members/594 employees. The union has implemented quite well the regimes of visiting sick people, giving gifts on holidays, rewarding children of union members who are good at studying... The average salary of workers is about 7 million VND/month.
The Trade Union of Seavina Joint Stock Company has 100% of employees participating in the Trade Union organization. The average salary of employees is 6,000,000 VND/person/month.
At the visit and working session, Ms. Tran Tu Nhien, Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation, highly appreciated the efforts of the grassroots unions in performing their functions of representation and caring for union members and workers.
The Vice President of the City Labor Federation also noted that grassroots unions need to overcome limitations and be more proactive in organizing emulation movements, cultural and sports activities and increasing participation in programs launched by the higher-level Trade Union.
