Flexible debt collection
According to Mr. Nguyen Tan Sang - Deputy Director of Kon Tum Provincial Social Insurance, the unit is currently classifying enterprises that are late in paying social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance to apply appropriate and flexible urging solutions.
Kon Tum Provincial Social Insurance also publicly announces the identity of units that owe insurance premiums on mass media. In professional work, the unit's staff will support employees to look up their social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance payment periods.
From there, it helps workers fully grasp information about the contributions and payments of the enterprise. Thereby, workers and employees are more proactive in participating in monitoring the enterprise's implementation of insurance policies and laws.
“The delay in paying insurance premiums is due to many businesses facing difficulties in their operations and production. Some businesses have not strictly complied with legal policies,” said Mr. Sang.
Meanwhile, workers are the ones who suffer losses due to their debt to pay insurance. Workers’ sickness, maternity, accident, occupational disease benefits, etc. are affected and cannot be enjoyed. However, in reality, many workers are afraid of losing their jobs or being laid off by their employers, so they do not dare to fight with their employers to claim their insurance benefits.
