Recently, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha has been considered the female general of the "dollar-watching" team at a garment enterprise with 2,000 employees - the largest in Ninh Thuan province.
Having been attached to Tien Thuan Garment Company Limited since its inception, from the position of a sewing linesman, Ms. Thu Ha has gradually strived to become an excellent worker.
In 2006, Ms. Ha was trusted by the Company's grassroots union and the Party Cell of Tien Thuan Garment Company Limited to be introduced to join the Party.
Ms. Ha shared: "When I was in the Party, working in the Party cell, and being guided by my brothers and sisters to raise my awareness and self-responsibility, I felt much more mature. Especially the spirit of training yourself to live an exemplary life, work by putting the common thing before the unique thing, pioneering in taking on difficult tasks to set an example for your workers...".
Taking on the task of group leader of group 23 with 90 workers, Ms. Thu Ha always reminds herself how to promote the abilities of each worker. Because rising from a direct production worker, Ms. Ha understands each stage and no one is good at being comprehensive, but each person will be a partly stronger. The close team leader is the one who connects the strengths of each person to create a strong team.
Before each order, Ms. Thu Ha always works with the technique of exchanging and preparing every detail carefully to assign scientifically and reasonably to each person in the group.
By making flexible, taking initiatives to balance the chain and arranging labor reasonably, streamlining the stages in the production line, Ms. Ha has increased work efficiency for workers, ensuring quality. The initiative helps increase labor productivity of team members from 3 USD/person/hour to 3.5 USD/person/hour. Ms. Ha's production team is in charge of revenue from 61,000 - 65,000 USD/month, achieving and exceeding the assigned revenue for the year.
In December 2024, with only over 80 workers, thanks to careful preparation for orders and the arrangement of workers, each person's strengths were promoted, group 23 achieved a revenue of 72,000 USD. In the first 19 days of January 2025 alone, our group reached 59,000 USD" - Ms. Ha said.
Not only did Thu Ha skillfully help each other with professional work to increase productivity, stabilize work and increase income, Ms. Thu Ha also actively participated in emulation movements launched by the Party, trade unions and the unit.
Through the working process, along with efforts to overcome all difficulties and complete assigned tasks well, Ms. Thu Ha has become a typical worker of the enterprise, with solid skills and being loved by workers.
"I am honored to be a typical worker Party member of Ninh Thuan province, commended by the General Confederation of Labor, I myself will constantly strive and improve to contribute to building the Party, grassroots trade unions and sustainable development of enterprises" - Ms. Ha said.
According to the leader of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Federation of Labor, building the Party in the hearts of workers is a continuous task implemented by trade unions at all levels in the province. The results from outstanding and exemplary labor union members have been promptly introduced by the union to the Party organization for consideration and admission.
And examples like Ms. Thu Ha have contributed to spreading important factors contributing to building sustainable business development. In 2025, the Ninh Thuan Provincial Federation of Labor aims to introduce over 700 outstanding union members for the Party to consider admitting.
