On November 29, the Trade Union of S.I.S Can Tho International General Hospital (CDCS) said that the unit had successfully organized the 3rd Congress, term 2025-2030.
During the past term, the Hospital Trade Union has achieved the title of "Strong, excellent grassroots trade union" for many consecutive years. The unit has spent more than 3 billion VND to take care of union members through activities of visiting, encouraging, giving gifts on holidays and Tet, and supporting disadvantaged circumstances. Thereby, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
The Trade Union coordinated with the Hospital's Board of Directors to mobilize members and employees to donate and support people affected by Typhoon Yagi, Typhoon No. 10 (Bualoi) and Typhoon No. 13 with a total amount of over 400 million VND. The grassroots trade union also established the S.I.S Golden Heart Fund, supporting 4 members in especially difficult circumstances of the hospital with over 380 million VND.
Women's work has been focused on and effectively implemented through taking care of female union members and workers on anniversaries of March 8, October 20... with a total amount of more than 140 million VND. The movement "Good at hospital work - Good at home work" is associated with the patriotic emulation movements of the unit to promote the role, capacity, build an equal, friendly and cohesive working environment.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Le Cong Khanh - Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation and Head of the City Labor Union - acknowledged and highly appreciated the performance of the S.I.S International General Hospital Trade Union with many outstanding achievements.
In the new term, the Vice President of the City Labor Federation suggested that the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union continue to innovate the content and methods of trade union activities in conjunction with the Congress motto. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen patriotic emulation movements associated with performing hospital tasks, building many new models, creative and effective ways of doing things; Uphold the spirit of determination, set the goal of achieving each term higher than the previous term, considering this the top priority task of the trade union organization.
The Congress elected 11 comrades to the Executive Committee of the new term of the Trade Union; elected 1 official delegate and 1 alternate delegate to attend the 1st Congress of the Can Tho City Trade Union, term 2025 - 2030. Comrade Nguyen Van Chung was re-elected as Chairman of the Trade Union of S.I.S Can Tho International General Hospital, term 2025-2030.
