During the past term, the Executive Committee (EC) of the Trade Union, the Head of the Trade Union and all union members have made efforts to make the School Trade Union strong and excellent over the years. The school's Trade Union is interested in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers (DV, NLD), with policies and regimes increasingly improved.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year every year, the school's Trade Union organizes gift giving to all union members, with a total value of about 375 million VND. The Executive Committee of the Trade Union has supported the budget for union members to have periodic health check-ups once a year with a total amount of nearly 243 million VND. At the same time, organize for union members to borrow capital to overcome difficulties to study, improve qualifications, treat diseases, repair houses and meet other difficult cases, with a total amount of 120 million VND.
The quality of movements and competitions such as "Studying according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style"; "Two Goods", "Two Goods"; "Good Teaching - Good Learning" has been increasingly improved, creating a continuous competitive atmosphere in each aspect of activities. The educational and professional qualifications of union members are increasing, meeting the needs for innovation in education in the current situation.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Le Cong Khanh - Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation, concurrently Head of the Trade Union Work Committee - acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of the Truong Trade Union for its efforts to help the unit complete and exceed the set targets.
The Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation emphasized that the 6th Congress of the Tay Do University Trade Union, term 2025 - 2030, is an important political event, marking a new development journey of the school's Trade Union organization.
Accordingly, in the new term, Mr. Khanh suggested that the School's Trade Union continue to innovate the content and methods of Trade Union activities in the direction of being close to members and employees, taking the needs of members and employees as the center; Strengthening patriotic emulation movements, associated with performing professional tasks; Proactively advising the Party Committee, Executive Committee, and School Council in caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of cadres, lecturers, workers, etc.
The Congress elected 9 comrades to the Executive Committee of the new school's Trade Union; elected 1 official delegate and 1 alternate delegate to attend the 1st Can Tho City Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030. Comrade Tran Huu Xinh was re-elected as Chairman of the Tay Do University Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term.
