In his opening speech, Mr. Do Duc Hung - Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union (VTC) - emphasized the motto of Workers' Month in 2025 as "Towards the grassroots - For the benefit of union members - For workers".
The emulation movement "Creative Labor" and the "10,000 initiatives" Program are implemented with the goal of: arousing the pioneering and creative spirit in each employee; mobilizing collective intelligence, promoting proposal of solutions, initiatives, technical improvements, applying digital technology, contributing to optimizing processes, saving costs and improving the efficiency of production and business activities; closely linking the emulation movement with EVN's digital transformation strategy, green and sustainable development; building a trade union organization into a solid support for workers.
The Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor called on all levels of affiliated trade unions to proactively and flexibly implement Workers' Month; turn the workplace into a "innovation center", and at the same time requested business leaders to accompany and create conditions for the movement to spread widely.
The goal of the 10,000 initiatives" program for the 2025-2028 period is to have at least 5 projects, solutions, and topics each year that win the Vietnam Science and Technology Innovation Award, the National Technical Innovation Competition, ministries, branches, and localities.
Each year, the whole Group has 2,500 initiatives at all levels. Strive to have 10% of employees be authors/co-authors of initiatives in the period of 2025 - 2028.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Phan Van Anh - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - highly appreciated the innovation efforts of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, especially the mark of the 500 kV Line 3 Project - the "5 most" project: fastest progress, best quality, safest - most economical, most creative, best care for life".
Vice Chairman of the VGCL to request the VGCL and the affiliated Trade Union to continue advising the Party committees, party organizations, authorities and expertise to meet dialogue with workers in the spirit of Resolution 02-NQ/TW (June 12, 2021) of the Politburo. Implementing the peak month of developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions. Focusing on organizing the effective implementation of patriotic emulation movements, the focus is the movement "Good labor, creative labor", the movement "Green, clean, beautiful, ensuring OSH".
At the launching ceremony, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented 15 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances; 23 union members with outstanding scientific, innovative and technical improvement topics were awarded the Certificate of "Creative Labor" by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in 2024.
On this occasion, leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor visited, presented gifts, and encouraged workers at the Quang Ninh Thermal Power Plant.
