Noted by Lao Dong newspaper, in the early days of April, Hoa Binh is strongly attracting investment capital by promoting the development of industrial parks (IZs). The construction and expansion of the industrial park not only creates a push for the local economy but also creates jobs for tens of thousands of workers, improving people's lives. Talking to PV, Mr. Tran Phuong Dong - Chairman of Trade Union of Industrial Zones of Hoa Binh Province - said that the whole province currently has 16 industrial parks in the plan, including 5 effective areas operating, including: Luong Son Industrial Park, Da River left Industrial Park (Hoa Binh City), Yen Quang Industrial Park, Binh Phu Industrial Park and Thanh Ha Industrial Park. These industrial parks have made an important contribution to creating stable jobs for more than 19,700 employees, promoting local socio -economic development.
Currently, the Nhuan Trach Industrial Park project is the largest industrial park in Luong Son district. The development potential of Nhuan Trach Industrial Park is, as expected, very large, with about 30,000 direct jobs and about 10,000 indirect jobs through commercial and service activities for the locality and neighboring provinces when put into operation" - Mr. Dong assessed.
According to Mr. Dong, the development of industrial parks both creates jobs and brings a professional working environment with clear treatment. The trade union always accompanies businesses, protects workers' rights and coordinates vocational training and soft skills to meet market demand.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien - a worker at GGS Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Song Da Fruit Bank Industrial Park - shared: "Before, I worked in agriculture, my income was very unstable, with good harvests and good harvests. Since working as a worker, his monthly income has been stable from 7 to 9 million VND, and he is close to home, so he is convenient to take care of his children and family. Life is now completely different from before, much more stable and secure". According to Ms. Hien, the development of industrial parks not only creates job opportunities, but also contributes to changing the thinking and lifestyle of rural workers. Instead of leaving their hometown to work far away, many people have now been able to stabilize their lives right on their homeland, with stable jobs, regular income and an increasingly professional working environment.
Mr. Bui Manh Cuong - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Hoa Binh province - said that solving employment for workers is an important task associated with the goal of sustainable development.
In recent years, all levels and sectors have done a good job of developing industrial parks in the province, while bringing many practical results, creating momentum to promote production and business development.
In the coming time, the province will continue to review and adjust the planning of industrial parks in a synchronous and modern direction, associated with the development of transport infrastructure, urban areas and housing for workers.
In addition, Hoa Binh will increase selective investment attraction, prioritizing high-tech, environmentally friendly industries, creating many quality and sustainable jobs. Along with that, training and improving skills for local workers will also be promoted to meet the increasingly high requirements of businesses.
Developing industrial parks is not simply a growth goal, but also a strategic solution to ensure long-term social security. In the development orientation in the coming time, industrial parks will continue to play a role as a core to promote the economy, while creating a foundation for the stability of people's lives. Only when people have jobs and stable incomes can they feel secure in sticking together, contributing to building their homeland to become more and more beautiful" - Mr. Cuong emphasized.
