Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor directly conveyed the new points of the Trade Union Law and the Social Insurance Law 2024 to trade union officials.
Mr. Uong Quang Huy, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union, said that the birth of the 2024 Trade Union Law and the 2024 Social Insurance Law marks an important development step in the system of policies and laws on labor and trade unions, in line with the context of the country's increasingly deep international economic integration. The amendment and supplementation of the provisions in these two laws not only helps strengthen the role of the Trade Union organization but also contributes to ensuring the rights of workers, improving the quality of life and social security.

Hosting the conference today not only helps us better understand the core contents and new points of these two important laws, but also helps identify key tasks in the implementation and implementation of units throughout the Vietnam Electricity Group. Immediately after the conference opening, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu trained trainees who are trade union officials on the basic points of the Trade Union Law No. 50/2024/QH15 passed by the 15th National Assembly on November 27, 2024, effective from July 1, 2025; Law on Social Insurance No. 41/2024/QH15 passed by the 15th National Assembly on June 29, 2024, effective from July 1, 2025.
