Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, Mr. Pham Thai Duong - Chairman of the Trade Union of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks said that as of September 26, 2024, the amount of money mobilized from union members, workers, civil servants and enterprises in Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks was over 4.2 billion VND. Of which, Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company and Hoa Phat Steel Prestressing One Member Co., Ltd. directly transferred over 2.6 billion VND to the group; Foster Quang Ngai Electronics Co., Ltd. directly donated 64 million VND.
Mr. Pham Thai Duong also said that grassroots unions are continuing to mobilize workers and businesses to support people in the northern provinces and cities affected by storms and floods to quickly overcome difficulties.

According to Mr. Nguyen Phuc Nhan, in response to the Appeal Letter of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province, socio-political organizations of Quang Ngai province (including Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province, Labor Federation of Quang Ngai province, Women's Union of Quang Ngai province, Youth Union of Quang Ngai province, Farmers' Association of Quang Ngai province, Veterans' Association of Quang Ngai province) have launched a campaign to support people in the northern provinces and cities affected by storms and floods.
Mr. Nguyen Phuc Nhan said that in the coming time, the province's socio-political organizations will step up propaganda and mobilize their cadres, union members and association members to actively respond and join hands to support people affected by damage, contributing to encouraging their spirit and reducing difficulties so that people in disaster-hit areas can soon stabilize their lives.
As of the afternoon of September 26, from the budget of Quang Ngai province and agencies, units, organizations, enterprises... in the province, they have supported the people in the North who suffered damage caused by floods, through the channel of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee with a total amount of nearly 30 billion VND. The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has allocated 2 support periods for the people in the Northern provinces with a total amount of 24 billion VND.
