But thanks to the members of the Mobilization Committee, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of Binh Hai Commune coming to our homes to propagate, we understood and decided to join the Union. As union members, we pledge not to participate in illegal fishing and are ready to support each other whenever we encounter trouble at sea.”
By the end of November 2024, the whole province had developed over 18,570 new union members, bringing the total number of union members to nearly 106,300, accounting for 92.3% of the total number of employees in the province; of which, 16,410 union members were developed, reaching 164% of the target, and nearly 950 union members were developed in the informal sector, reaching 135% of the target assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
