Many activities to take care of Tet for members
Mr. Tran Van Dong - Chairman of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Federation of Labor informed that since the end of October 2024, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor has issued a plan to organize activities to take care of union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
This year, the Trade Union focused on implementing 7 activities, mainly organized at the grassroots level. Notably, the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" was organized at the grassroots Trade Union and some trade unions directly above the grassroots level, where there are many Union members and employees; implementing the program "Union Tet Market 2025" in the form of online providing essential goods and services, serving the needs of Union members and employees during Tet; organizing visits to Union members, employees, businesses and giving Tet gifts (at least 500,000 VND) to about 3,800 union members in difficult circumstances...
Mr. Vo Duy Truc - Head of the Propaganda and Women's Union, Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation - said that according to the plan issued by the Provincial Labor Federation, there will be 9 activities to take care of Tet At Ty 2025 proposed by Khanh Hoa Labor Federation.
That is organizing the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang", "Tet Union Market 2025"; organizing activities to visit, give gifts, and wish Tet to union members and workers on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025; organizing activities to celebrate Tet, visit and encourage union members and workers who cannot return home to celebrate Tet... Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation will support 2,500 Tet gifts for 2,500 union members and workers in difficult circumstances, worth 1 million VND/gift.
The trade union at the grassroots level directly supports Tet for about 7,300 union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a support level of 500,000 VND. The district, industry and grassroots trade unions under the Provincial Labor Federation organize activities such as "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" and "Tet Union Market 2025" of their level. In cases where many union members and workers cannot return to their hometowns for Tet, they coordinate to organize the program "Tet not far from home" with warm, joyful activities bearing the mark of the union.
According to Mr. Dang Ngoc Anh - Chairman of Phu Yen Provincial Federation of Labor, the goal is "All union members and workers have a happy, meaningful, warm and united Tet", depending on the actual situation, trade unions at all levels choose to organize the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dep Party", the program "Accompanying workers on New Year's Eve". Increase 3-party connection, take care of Tet effectively
According to Mr. Tran Van Dong, the Trade Union always has activities to visit, give gifts, and wish the New Year to union members and workers on the occasion of Lunar New Year with the participation of leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, National Assembly delegations and local leaders, paying special attention to union members and workers who are still in difficulty, suffering from serious illnesses, occupational diseases, and work-related accidents...
Through the activities of local leaders, the Union is more closely connected to the business and workers' situation. In return, the Union also opens a bridge to bring the voices of business owners, union members and workers closer to the leaders. Many problems from all sides through visits and support during Tet have been promptly resolved.
Strengthening negotiations and three-party dialogue, especially at enterprises, also maximizes the goal of taking care of Tet.
