On December 9, Ms. Thai Thi Mai, Vice President in charge of the Son Provincial Federation of Labor, said: "By November 30, the affiliated grassroots unions had basically completed the congress and expanded conference as planned.
The units have sent reports on the results of trade union activities and the labor movement of the grassroots trade union in the period of 2023-2025, as a basis for assessing the results and setting out tasks for the period of 2025 - 2030".
At this time, the Son La Provincial Federation of Labor is focusing on completing documents, personnel, and facilities to serve the 16th Congress; at the same time, promoting propaganda on the Son La Trade Union Fanfage, newspapers, television, and local radio to spread to union members and workers.
By the end of November 2025, the Provincial Federation of Labor will maintain a Employment Fund to support 31 union members to borrow more than 1 billion VND and a Fund for Female Workers to help 45 cases borrow 900 million VND.
Support the construction and repair of 97 "Union Shelters" for union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of over 3.7 billion VND. More than 30,000 union members in difficult circumstances and suffering from serious illnesses were promptly visited and supported by trade unions at all levels with nearly 60 billion VND.
In parallel with the preparation for the congress, the Provincial Federation of Labor has implemented a plan to take care of Binh Ngo Tet 2026 for union members and workers, including: Allocating Tet gifts, organizing "Union Year's Meals" and grasping the situation at the trade unions of enterprises and workers in difficult circumstances to increase social security at the end of the year.
The Son La Provincial Federation of Labor also directed grassroots unions to summarize activities in 2025, develop a program for 2026 and implement the allocation of reward targets, contributing to completing the assessment and orientation of grassroots activities in the coming year.
At the same time, many important documents were issued such as commenting on the documents of the 14th National Party Congress; reports on work and mass mobilization skills; plans for propaganda on crime prevention and control; and comments on draft resolutions on initiative activities; perfecting comments and propaganda plans before, during and after the Congress...
Ms. Mai Lan Huong - Chairwoman of the Provincial General Hospital Trade Union said that the unit has completed the discussion and hopes that the content will contribute to spreading experiences to promote the movement "Good workers, creative workers", creating motivation for innovation in the health sector.
With the current progress, the conditions for organizing the 16th Son La Provincial Trade Union Congress have been basically guaranteed, ready for the important political event of the trade union organization in mid-December.
