On December 9, the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor announced that the Trade Union of Hoya Lens Vietnam Co., Ltd. - Quang Ngai Branch has just coordinated with the Company's Board of Directors to organize the 2025 Workers' Conference.
The conference was attended by 110 delegates, representing the will and aspirations of 1,678 union members and workers in the entire company.
At the conference, Mr. Do Van Hanh - Chairman of the Trade Union presented a summary report on activities, highlighting the comprehensive care for the material and spiritual life of workers. In 2025, the Trade Union has successfully maintained and organized many meaningful activities such as: Giving Tet gifts, International Women's Day 8.3, Hoya Men's and Women's Football Tournament, Workers' Day, and especially the "Union Meal" program taking place in August.
The bright spot in the past year was the emulation movement for innovation initiatives, the result: the whole company recorded 446 innovation ideas. Many initiatives have brought great economic value, typically the idea of changing the frequency of taking quality control assessment samples to save 78,000 USD/year, or the process of renaming the laser-mark product to save more than 28,000 USD/year.
The conference unanimously approved the 2026 action plan with many important goals. The grassroots trade union will continue to maintain traditional welfare activities such as giving birthday gifts, organizing tours and sports tournaments. In particular, in 2026, the Hoya Marathon is expected to be held.
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Le Thanh Binh - representative of the higher-level Trade Union acknowledged and commended the results that the Trade Union has achieved in the past year; Thanked the Company's Board of Directors for creating favorable conditions for the Trade Union to operate and implementing well the regimes and policies for union members and employees. In 2025, despite facing many difficulties such as changing tax policies, Hoya Lens will still ensure jobs and income for more than 1,600 workers.
On the occasion of the 2025 Workers' Conference, the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union presented 11 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances and 15 gifts to union members with outstanding achievements in the movement "Workers, civil servants and trade union activities in 2025" with a total amount of 13 million VND.
