The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued a document on strengthening supervision and grasping the situation of labor, employment, wages, bonuses and labor relations during the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo in 2026.
Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the Department of Home Affairs to closely coordinate with the Labor Federation, Social Insurance, the Management Board of Export Processing and Industrial Zones, the Management Board of the City High-Tech Park and the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to monitor and grasp the production and business activities of enterprises, employment and life of workers, and the situation of labor relations at enterprises.
At the same time, promote propaganda and dissemination of policies and laws on labor, especially new regulations on employment, wages, and social insurance.
Along with that, promote the inspection and supervision of the implementation of labor policies and laws, strictly and promptly handle violations; promote activities to support the building of harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
In particular, proactively implementing solutions to prevent and reduce labor disputes and strikes that may arise in the area before, during and after the New Year and Lunar New Year in 2026, not allowing incidents to persist and spread, causing insecurity, disorder, and social safety.
