Delegates also learned about some new regulations in the Social Insurance Law 2024 such as adding the regime and budget for social pension benefits, monthly allowances, expanding the subjects participating in compulsory social insurance; adding the right to enjoy sick leave, maternity benefits, reducing the period of social insurance payment to receive pension (from paying for 20 years to 15 years).
Through the training content, trade union officials fully grasp the contents of the Law to take care of and better protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers, build harmonious relationships at agencies, units and businesses. Along with that, propagating and disseminating to union members and employees who recognize their main rights and responsibilities under the Law on Trade Union 2024, the Law on Social Insurance 2024.
