The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation has just issued a plan to organize a conference on training on trade union work for union officials in wards, communes and special zones in Ho Chi Minh City.
Accordingly, 139 chairmen of ward, commune, and special zone trade unions and 125 full-time trade union officials of Ho Chi Minh City will participate in this training course.
Trade union officials will be trained in knowledge of the Law on Social Insurance, the Law on Trade Unions and the Labor Code; Issues on trade union organization and operation in the new situation; Skills in organizing and implementing trade union activities.
The purpose of the professional training conference is to update new regulations and equip union officials, especially union chairmen at the ward, commune and new special zone levels.
At the same time, the training program helps union officials grasp the regulations and principles to effectively perform the function of representing, protecting the rights of workers and building harmonious labor relations and enhancing solidarity, exchanging, and learning experiences between union officials.
