On the afternoon of January 20, implementing the program "Late Tet", the working delegation led by Ms. Tran Thi Huong - Vice President of Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation visited and wished a happy new year to the People's Committee of Truong Sa district and the Labor Federation of Truong Sa district.
This is a program to encourage the spirit of cadres, civil servants, union members, workers, agencies and units on duty during the Lunar New Year 2025.
Ms. Tran Thi Huong said - implementing a series of activities to care for Tet for union members and workers, the Provincial Federation of Labor and all levels of unions simultaneously organized Tet Sum Vay for union members and workers.
Support 10% of the total number of union members in the province with the goal of all workers in difficulty receiving Tet gifts from the Union. 2,500 Tet gifts, each worth 1 million VND, were allocated and given to union members by the Provincial Federation of Labor before January 24.
Along with that is the program "Union Tet Market" with thousands of products at preferential prices and thousands of 0 VND vouchers given to union members by the Provincial Federation of Labor and all levels of unions.
In particular, the program "Late Tet" is implemented by the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor from December 21 to New Year's Eve. There will be 4 working delegations led by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor to visit and present gifts to a number of agencies and units on duty during the Lunar New Year At Ty and union members and workers in difficult circumstances who have to continue working to serve activities during the Tet holiday.
Sharing the hardships and difficulties of the staff and union members of Truong Sa district, the leaders of Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation presented 2 union members in difficult circumstances working in the district and 8 union members working on the islands in Truong Sa with gifts worth 1 million VND each. Of which, the gift bag with necessities for Tet holiday is worth 300,000 VND and 700,000 VND in cash.
Accompanying the program, Sanest Khanh Hoa Beverage Joint Stock Company presented 40 gifts to children of soldiers and civilians in Truong Sa island district to welcome the new year.
On behalf of the People's Committee of Truong Sa district, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Duong Van Dung - Deputy Brigade Commander, Chief of Staff of Brigade 146 respectfully thanked the trade union organization for its attention to union members and workers of Truong Sa island district.
Due to the nature of their work, every spring, the island district’s soldiers and people always receive warm and meaningful Tet gifts from the people of the whole country. The ships that sail across the waves to bring Tet to the island district’s soldiers and people are always awaited.
Although celebrating Tet, each union member, worker, soldier and citizen of the island district must always ensure the completion of the task of defending the island as the outpost of the fatherland.
Today's late Tet gifts will be delivered to union members and children by the unit on the earliest train of 2025.
Along with Tet gifts for union members in Truong Sa, the delegation of Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation also visited and presented 20 gifts to environmental sanitation workers of the Cam Ranh Urban Joint Stock Company Union.
These are the union members who will have to work overtime to complete the garbage collection work of Cam Ranh city on New Year's Eve.
Mr. Nguyen Thai Sang - a garbage truck driver said - "The timely gift encourages us to work better on the last day of the year so that the whole city will be clean on the first day of Tet."
