On January 12, Mr. Dao Manh Kien - Chairman of the Vietnam Airlines Corporation Trade Union said that on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the working delegation of Vietnam Airlines Corporation visited and expressed gratitude to the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers that the Corporation has taken care of in the two districts of Thang Binh and Bac Tra My (Quang Nam) - where the Corporation has carried out care work since 1995.
The delegation was led by Mr. Dao Manh Kien. This is a meaningful annual activity, demonstrating the spirit of "When drinking water, remember its source".
Over the past three decades, the Corporation has taken care of 73 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Quang Nam.
To date, 61 Mothers have passed away, leaving only 12 Mothers. In addition to the monthly support for each Mother, the Corporation also regularly organizes activities to visit and give gifts on holidays, Tet, War Invalids and Martyrs Day 27/7 and longevity celebrations.
During this visit, the delegation presented each Mother with 2 million VND in cash, taken from the Corporation's Charity Fund, along with a gift worth 500,000 VND from the union budget. Although the gifts were small, they expressed the sincere feelings and deep gratitude of the Corporation's staff for the noble sacrifices of the heroic Vietnamese Mothers.
This activity is not only an opportunity for the Corporation to express gratitude but also an opportunity to connect, share and spread humanistic values in the community.
