Specifically, the ceremony approved the Decision to establish the grassroots trade union and appoint the Executive Committee, the Inspection Committee of the company's grassroots trade union; approved the decision to admit union members.
Mr. Nguyen Phuc Hau - Chairman of the company's Trade Union - said: The Trade Union of Saigon Kien Giang Eye Hospital Joint Stock Company was established under the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor, assigned to the Rach Gia Ward Trade Union for management with 36 union members. The Executive Committee considers this an important turning point, striving to demonstrate its responsibility to perform well the functions and tasks according to the law and the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
"We believe that, with the attention and direction of the Provincial Federation of Labor and local Trade Unions, support and all conditions created by the Company's Board of Directors, the enthusiastic and unanimous response of all union members, the Company's Executive Board of the Trade Union will complete and perform well the assigned duties and tasks. worthy of being a representative of workers at the company, the Trade Union will gradually mature, become stronger and develop more," Mr. Hau shared.
Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Do Tran Thinh said: Saigon Kien Giang Eye Hospital Joint Stock Company has made efforts and determined to establish a Trade Union organization as soon as the new unit began to stabilize, this is also an impressive point before the Provincial Trade Union Congress.
"The establishment of grassroots trade unions is also a key activity program that the province focuses on implementing, especially after the merger of provinces and the rearrangement of administrative units. In 2025, we have actively implemented and promoted mobilization so that businesses understand and participate in the Trade Union organization, establish grassroots trade unions and will promote stronger implementation, innovate methods, and be more creative in implementing tasks in the coming time," said Mr. Thinh.
