The conference was attended by Ms. Thai Thu Xuong, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, along with nearly 300 students who are presidents, vice presidents, officials of labor federations of provinces, cities, industry unions, corporation unions and leaders of affiliated units.
The training content includes 6 topics, focusing on 4 main issues: Emulation and reward work, document and archive work, regulations on protecting state secrets and information synthesis and reporting. The topics are built on the practical situation in implementing new regulations, as well as the difficulties and obstacles of trade unions at all levels.
The team of instructors participating in the training came from the Ministry of Public Security, the Central Party Archives Department and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
In her opening speech, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong emphasized: "The Presidium of the General Confederation of Labor always identifies the building of a team of union officials with sufficient capacity and qualities, meeting the requirements of the tasks as a key task, contributing to improving the quality and efficiency of union activities.
To achieve this goal, the General Confederation always focuses on training, fostering and coaching, helping union officials promptly update new policies, guidelines and regulations, thereby improving their skills and expertise, and meeting the organization's tasks well.
Ms. Thai Thu Xuong also encouraged the trainees to actively discuss, exchange, and propose solutions suitable to the reality in their locality and unit. The training course organizers need to fully record the opinions of the delegates, as documents to perfect office work, emulation and rewards in the trade union system."
The General Confederation Office has carefully prepared the conditions for the training course to take place successfully, with the expectation that the trainees will fully absorb the content and effectively apply it to practical work.
