On the evening of January 15, Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
The program is one of the practical activities demonstrating the concern of the Trade Union organization in taking care of union members and workers. Thereby, it helps union members and workers to be more attached to the union organization and the enterprise, creating motivation for union members and workers to work productively, effectively, enjoy spring, celebrate Tet warmly, joyfully, bearing the mark of the Union.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, President of Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui informed that during the Lunar New Year this year, from the financial resources of the Trade Union, the Provincial Federation of Labor supported 9,885 gifts (including cash and necessities) for union members and workers in difficult and extremely difficult circumstances with a total amount of nearly 8 billion VND. Unions at all levels also mobilized other social resources to care for and support union members and workers with an amount of billions of VND.
The highlight of this year is the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan An Dang" with contents such as giving 658 gifts, with a total amount of over 428 million VND; supporting the construction of 60 Trade Union Shelters; coordinating the organization of a market bringing "Vietnamese goods to industrial parks - Trade Union Tet Market in 2025"; 0 VND booths for Union members and workers.
Holding the Tet gift in her hand, Ms. Nguyen Thi Be Tu - a worker at Nghi Phong Joint Venture Company Limited (Dong Thap province) - emotionally shared: "The gift given at this time is really meaningful, helping me save a lot of Tet expenses. With the care and support of the Trade Union, we workers are both happy and excited to welcome Tet and have more motivation to produce and stick with the Trade Union organization."
Excitedly shopping at the market bringing "Vietnamese goods to industrial parks - Trade Union Tet Market 2025", Ms. Mai Thi Xuan Khanh - a worker at Tran Quoc Toan Industrial Park (Dong Thap province) - excitedly said: "The goods at the market not only meet the needs but the prices are also very favorable for us workers. Having received gifts and shopping at the Tet market, I think this year's spring of my family will be even more fulfilling and cozy".
The program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" will take place from January 15 to 17. In addition to activities such as gift giving, giving Union Shelters, the market bringing "Vietnamese Goods to Industrial Parks - Union Tet Market 2025", the program also organizes environmental protection fashion shows and cultural exchanges, creating a vibrant and joyful atmosphere among Union members and workers on the occasion of Tet.
