On June 5, the Soc Trang Provincial Labor Federation organized the handover of the Trade Union Shelter to union member Le Van Hong of the Thanh Tan Commune Trade Union (Thanh Tri District).
Union member Hong has more than 30 years of experience and has always completed his assigned tasks well. However, due to difficult circumstances, his family had to live in a dilapidated house that could not be rebuilt. With the support of 50 million VND from the Trade Union Shelter Fund and the family's savings, Mr. Hong has built a new, more spacious and sturdy house.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Mr. Le Van Phai, Vice President of the Soc Trang Provincial Labor Federation, congratulated union member Hong's family, expressing his hope that the new house will be a motivation to help the family stabilize their lives, continue to rise up, and successfully complete the assigned tasks.
On the same day, the Provincial Federation of Labor also organized the handover of the Trade Union Shelter to union member Mai Thi My Linh of the Trade Union of Soc Trang Sugar Plyce Joint Stock Company.
