On May 10, at Binh Hoa Industrial Park, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of An Giang province held a Conference to commend Good and Creative Workers for the period 2020 - 2025 and summarize 10 years of implementing Directive No. 52-CT/TW dated January 9, 2016 of the Central Party Secretariat on "Strengthening the Party's leadership in improving the spiritual life of workers in industrial parks and export processing zones".
Mr. Chau Van Ly - Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) - along with representatives of the leaders of the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union and nearly 100 delegates and guests attended.
Reporting at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Luu Phong - Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of An Giang province - said that through regularly innovating the content and methods of operation, 12/12 grassroots trade unions with 18,185 union members/19,301 workers have effectively launched many emulation movements for solutions, technical improvement, organizing knowledge exchange competitions, Skilled competitions...
Accordingly, depending on the specific situation of each enterprise, the grassroots Trade Union proactively develops a plan to launch an emulation movement with the goal of high productivity, quality, and efficiency, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene close to actual needs... Thereby spreading widely among union members and workers of enterprises in industrial parks.
Thereby, it has strongly aroused the spirit of patriotic emulation, creative dynamism, overcoming difficulties, developing production and business effectively, completing professional tasks excellently... Thereby, many initiatives have appeared to improve machinery and equipment, install production lines according to advanced technology to bring productivity, quality, high efficiency...
This not only contributes to ensuring jobs and income for workers but also promotes sustainable business development. In 5 years, 4 collectives and 12 individuals were commended by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Federation of Labor.
At this conference, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks selected 2 collectives and 60 outstanding individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Good workers - Creative workers" in the period of 2020 - 2025. Also at the ceremony, the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor awarded Certificates of Merit to 12 individuals of the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union for outstanding achievements in the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities in 2024.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Chau Van Ly highly appreciated the achievements that union members and workers in industrial parks in the province have achieved in responding to patriotic emulation movements launched by the Trade Union organization. At the same time, he hoped that grassroots trade unions would continue to promote the achieved achievements, increase creativity in good practices, effective and practical work to nurture and enhance patriotic emulation movements to meet the new situation.
