On the afternoon of May 9, the Center for Research and Training on microchip Design and Artificial Intelligence - DSAC organized a thematic workshop on Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure within the framework of the City-level workshop with the theme "Artificial Intelligence - New driving force for Da Nang development".
At the workshop, Mr. Ho Ky Minh - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City emphasized that artificial intelligence is not only a trend, but a strategic component in the development architecture of the 21st century.
"Da Nang is not following a worn path, but is proactively building its own position - a city with technological identity, deep integration, knowing how to listen, experiment, and create new value from internal resources and global connectivity, where every idea is nurtured, every talent is developed, and every enterprise can start and reach far from the Da Nang platform itself," Mr. Minh emphasized.
At the same time, the Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee also assigned tasks to relevant departments, branches and sectors. Assign the Department of Science and Technology to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments and units, develop and operate a coordination mechanism to develop the city's AI ecosystem in the direction of inter-sectoral - linking - connecting, ensuring effective connection between pillars: technical infrastructure, human resources, innovation and attracting investment. At the same time, develop an implementation roadmap until 2030 in conjunction with a specific assessment target system.
Assign the Management Board of Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Zones to preside over reviewing infrastructure, site, and planning to proactively anticipate and be ready to receive investment projects in data centers, supercomputers, and AI computing infrastructure.
Assign the DSAC Center to promote its role as a connecting unit between the state - schools - businesses - investors, and continue to implement creative cooperation models such as: Open Laborator on AI, AI Talent Development Center, and shared AI infrastructure and data platforms to serve the startup and research community.
For the business community, academies, and accompanying units, the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee suggested continuing to maintain connectivity, share initiatives and accompany the city in implementing public-private partnership programs, training, research and technology transfer in the field of AI.
Da Nang City is also committed to creating the most favorable conditions in terms of policies, infrastructure and testing environment so that all innovative ideas have the opportunity to be nurtured, developed and spread.
