Samsung Galaxy Ultra phones have always been expensive products. This is not surprising because this is the highest-end product line of the Galaxy S series.
Right now, we don’t have an official answer on the price. But thanks to leaks and prices of previous models, we can make some predictions.
One thing that's almost certain is that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra won't cost less than the Galaxy S24 Ultra, so the best-case scenario is that it will retain the same price as the current model.
However, there's a very good chance that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will actually cost more.
It is said that this phone will probably use the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. This could lead to a price increase, as Qualcomm said that this processor will cost more than the previous model. The leaker said that the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor is about $40 more expensive.
In that case, if Samsung passes that price increase on to buyers, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra could start at around $1,340.
On the plus side, Samsung sells so many phones that it can strike a favorable deal with Qualcomm that lowers the price per processor unit.
But on the other hand, inflation could also push prices up, along with the improvements we're anticipating on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
And regardless of the price, users will still get a much better phone than the Galaxy S24 Ultra. In addition to the more powerful processor, leaks also indicate an upgraded ultra-wide camera, more RAM, a larger screen, and a refined design.
