Gemini can access core Samsung apps

Samsung is working closely with Google to integrate the Gemini artificial intelligence platform on Galaxy devices.

According to a recent leak, Gemini can access Samsung's core apps on the Galaxy S25 series, including Samsung Notes and many others.

Samsung and Google's collaboration on artificial intelligence (AI) has previously focused on the Circle to Search feature on the Galaxy S24 series. However, it seems that Samsung will focus on Gemini in the near future, as recent leaks have repeatedly mentioned this technology.

Recently, a source revealed screenshots of Gemini extensions for Samsung Notes, Samsung Calendar, and Samsung Reminder.

When accessed through Samsung's default apps, AI will provide better answers, perform tasks, and more.

For Samsung Calendar, Gemini can create, edit, and delete events, including the ability to create events from images. Similarly, Gemini can use the Samsung Reminder app to create, edit, or delete reminders, although there are still some limitations to the functionality.

Samsung Notes will also be integrated with Gemini, allowing not only creating new notes but also summarizing existing notes as well as finding notes based on description or title. These features are considered very useful and convenient for users.

With deep access to core apps like Samsung Notes, Calendar and Reminder, users are not only fully supported in managing their daily work but also take advantage of the power of AI to improve efficiency and creativity.

These features will likely debut alongside the Galaxy S25 series as part of Samsung's latest wave of AI features.

This is considered a strategic move to help Samsung affirm its position in the technology race and bring competitive advantage in the high-end smartphone segment.
