Google Photos has just added many advanced AI features, making it easy for users to edit and create photos in the desired style.
The highlight is the new "Ask" button, where users can ask the AI to answer questions about the photo or make edits.
Google also deploys AI models and Nano Banana models to convert photos to styles such as Hung Portraits or tragic paintings.
The reminder-based editing feature, previously only available on Pixel 10, has now been extended to iOS users in the US.
Users can enter voice or text instructions to edit each person in the photo, such as opening the eyes, removing sunglasses or creating a unique smile for each person. Google also redesigned the photo editor on iOS with easier, more friendly options.
The upgraded version also brings the ability to identify individuals in the facial group, helping AI apply personalized edits.
Nano Banana, Google's popular AI image model, helps users convert photos to creative formats, from classic portraits to action photos. The feature will be rolled out in the US and India in the Create tab on Android.
Google Photos expands AI-powered searches from the US to more than 100 countries, including Argentina, Brazil, India, Japan and South Africa.
The app supports more than 17 new languages such as Arabian, French, German, Chinese, Japanese and Spanish, making it easier for users to search for photos in natural language.
With these improvements, Google Photos is increasingly becoming an increasingly smart, everyone-friendly image management and creation platform.
