Google Photos is a useful tool for photo management and now with some impressive artificial intelligence (AI) features, it's getting more powerful when it comes to photo editing too.
However, if a user wants to use a specific photo as a wallpaper, the process is currently quite complicated. The location of this option is not really intuitive, causing many people to have difficulty.
Luckily, that’s about to change. According to Android Authority, the source code for Google Photos v7.0 suggests that the wallpaper setting process will be simplified.
Google Photos lets users set any photo as wallpaper on Pixel phones and many other Android phones.
Users will have a "Set as wallpaper" option directly in the tools menu.
The new option is not yet available to users. Google is said to be still developing the feature, so the official launch date is still unclear.
However, when this feature is released, it will probably be warmly received by Google Photos users.
