According to Techcrunch, this update brings a series of new tools such as battery-saving map mode, notification summary and fraud message detection feature.
The notification summary feature helps users quickly grasp the main content in long conversations, first applied to the Pixel 9 series and newer devices. Google also said that in December, the company will add the ability to automatically turn off low-priority notifications, similar to what Apple is doing with the priorize notification feature.
Another highlight is the battery saving mode for the Maps app. When enabled, the screen will move to the dark background, only displaying important navigation information such as the route and the next turn detail. According to Google, this mode can help extend battery life by up to 4 hours on the Pixel 10 series.
At the same time, the company expanded its fraud detection feature in calls and messages to many new countries such as: UK, Ireland, India, Australia and Canada. When detecting a suspicious message, users will see a "P possible fraud" warning button right in the notification. This feature helps identify risks faster.
Google also launched the Remix feature in the messaging app, allowing users to use reminders to recreate or edit images thanks to the combination of the Nano Banana model and the Gemini AI system. The feature is currently rolling out in English-speaking markets, including the US, UK, Australia, Canada, India, Ireland and New Zealand.
Meanwhile, the Pixel VIPs feature launched in June has also been expanded, allowing 8 intimate contacts to be attached to the home screen and prioritizing notification from them. If a loved one's area has a flood-like incident, the utility will display an emergency warning icon right on the screen.
The November update also includes a call Notes feature in countries such as Australia, Canada, UK, Ireland and Japan, along with the Wicked: For Good interface package inspired by the film of the same name - including the new background, icon, sound and images for Pixel 6 and later.
