More than 1,000 international technology and AI experts visit Vietnam

The International Conference on "Artificial Intelligence and Semi-Leadership 2025" (AISC 2025) will officially take place from March 12 to March 16, 2025 in Hanoi and Da Nang.

With the theme "Creating the future: Connecting AI & Global semiconductor technology", the event was organized by the National Innovation Center (NIC) in collaboration with Aitomatic Organization (USA).

The event marked an important step forward in connecting the artificial intelligence and semiconductor industries, while affirming Vietnam's role in the global industrial value chain.

AISC 2025 brings together more than 1,000 of the world's leading technology leaders and experts, with the participation of large corporations such as Google DeepMind, IBM, Intel, TSMC, Samsung, MediaTek, Tokyo Electron, Panasonic, Qorvo, Marvell and many other technology companies. The conference focused on AI's breakthrough innovations in chip design and manufacturing, and discussed the potential of advanced semiconductor architecture for AI.

One of the highlights of the conference was the Policy Forum "Vietnam proactively develops the semiconductor and artificial intelligence industry in the new era", taking place on March 14, 2025.

In addition, during the 5 days of the conference, thematic conferences, technical seminars, exhibitions and cross-border business connections will be held to promote cooperation and development of AI and semiconductor technology.

Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Duc Tam emphasized: Vietnam is at a very important time, preparing to enter a new era - the era of national growth as affirmed by General Secretary To Lam. Vietnam focuses on promoting digital transformation, green transformation and developing science and technology, innovation to create breakthroughs in productivity, quality and increase the competitiveness of the economy, in which the semiconductor and artificial intelligence industry is identified as playing a key role".

Dr. Christopher Nguyen, founder of Aitomatic, co-organizer of AISC 2025, shared: AISC 2025 marks an important turning point in the development of AI and semiconductors. We gather the world's leading innovators to introduce real breakthroughs at the intersection of these two fields".

The event also featured leading experts such as Eric Schmidt, former CEO of Google, who will discuss economic development strategies in the AI era; Dr. Le Viet Quoc, outstanding scientist at Google DeepMind; two co-creators of AlphaChip - Dr. Anna Goldie from Google DeepMind and Dr. Azalia Mirhoseini from Stanford University; and many other experts from Intel, IBM Research, Tata Electronics and Honeywell.

In addition to the main conference series, AISC 2025 is also the launching date of SemiKong - a pioneering open source platform in chip manufacturing developed by Aitomatic, marking an important step forward in applying AI to chip manufacturing. At the same time, NIC cooperates with META, NVIDIA and Aitomatic to build a Vietnamese dataset for AI research, laying the foundation for Vietnam to become an AI powerhouse in the future.

AISC 2025 is also the place to announce the official joining of Vietnamese organizations in AI Alliance - a global alliance founded by IBM Aitomatic, Meta, AMD, Intel and more than 140 members from 25 countries, to promote open innovation in AI development.
