Meta launches Imagine Me feature, allowing you to create personalized AI photos from Selfie photos and text reminders right on Facebook, Instagram, Facebook Messenger.

Meta has just officially launched a new feature called Imagine Me, an AI tool that allows users to create their own personalized image based on selfies and text reminders.

The feature began rolling out in India on July 17 and will work across Meta's three main platforms: Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.

Currently, outside of India, Meta has not made any official announcement about expanding this feature to other markets such as the US, Europe or Vietnam.

However, based on Meta's previous AI product deployment strategy, it is likely that this feature will gradually expand to other countries in the coming time, after collecting enough user feedback and optimizing the experience.

If you are outside of India and haven't seen this feature on the app yet, make sure you're using the latest updated version of Instagram, WhatsApp or Messenger and follow Meta's official announcement to see when Imagine Me will be available in your region.

With Imagine Me, users just need to start a conversation with @Meta AI in an individual or group chat framework, then send a reminder: Imagine me as... (Imagine me...).

For example, users can ask: Imagine me a highland guy on the moon or Imagine me a 90s gangster drinking coffee on the beach.

To create more accurate and vivid images, Meta requires users to provide three selfies taken from the angles: front row, left corner and right corner of the face. These images will help the system identify facial features and create the AI photo version as required. The result was created in just a few seconds.

In addition to unlimited creativity, users can edit, re- create or delete created photos if they are not satisfied. Meta also allows users to manage their privacy, including turning off the feature if they don't want to use it anymore.

Under Meta's new policy, all AI-generated images will be labeled "Created with AI", to increase transparency and limit misunderstandings.

In addition, the company can also apply the AI Information label to other AI-generated images that they detect.

The Imagine Me feature is considered Meta's new step forward in popularizing AI technology to popular users, while promoting personal creativity on social networking platforms.

With fast processing speed, high customization capabilities and direct integration into popular messaging apps, Meta AI is gradually shaping the future of virtual interaction.
