On October 5, the Vietnam Digital Communications Association and VietTimes Electronic Magazine held the Vietnam Digital Awards 2024 ceremony. This is an annual award, sponsored by the Ministry of Information and Communications, to honor outstanding digital transformation achievements of state agencies, public service units, businesses and individuals who have contributed to promoting the national digital transformation.
Hue Monuments Conservation Center is honored to receive the Vietnam Digital Transformation Award 2024 for its application of digital technology to preserve and promote the values of Hue's heritage and culture.
The Vietnam Digital Awards 2024 also honored 6 public service units, 9 enterprises and 19 digital transformation solutions that have contributed to promoting the development of the digital economy.
The Hue Monuments Conservation Centre has applied a series of modern digital technologies to preserve and promote heritage values, changing the way of approaching heritage such as: Electronic ticket system; mobile app application serving visitors to Hue Imperial City; identification of antiquities and digital exhibitions; application of 360 virtual reality technology for some relic sites; QR code scanning system to look up information on some antiquities.
