Samsung may launch an ultra-thin phone

Samsung may launch the super-slim phone called Galaxy S25 Slim globally next year.

While Apple is rumored to launch the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air, Samsung is also expected to launch the thin and light Galaxy S25 Slim in 2025.

Unlike the iPhone Air, which replaced the iPhone Plus line (previously the iPhone mini), the Galaxy S25 Slim will be the fourth phone model in the Galaxy S25 line, after the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra versions.

Based on data from the GSMA IMEI database, the Galaxy S25 Slim will have the model number SM-S937B/DS. The "B/DS" designation indicates that this is a global version with dual-SIM support.

Although Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S25 series in January 2025, the Galaxy S25 Slim is not expected to be introduced at the event.

Information from experts suggests that the Galaxy S25 Slim will be announced in the second quarter of 2025, possibly in April or May.

Of course, the Galaxy S25 Slim may not be the official name of this device, and the same applies to the iPhone 17 Air.
