The next product that Xiaomi is about to launch is a shellfish folding phone - Mix Flip 2, the next version of the mix flip.

This model will directly compete with the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7 of Samsung as well as Motorola's next folding phone.

According to leaked sources, Mix Flip 2 will probably be launched in the second quarter of 2025, earlier than the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Most likely, Xiaomi will launch this product before China, then expand to the newly expanded to Global market.

The leaked source said that mix flip 2 will be equipped with a battery capacity of up to 5,100 mAh, supporting wireless charging with a capacity of 50W. This is a significant advantage when compared to Motorola Razr+ (2024) and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, which has a smaller battery. Compared to the previous version of Mix Flip (4,780 mAh), Xiaomi's new model also has a significant upgrade in battery capacity.

Battery is one of the most important factors when users decide to buy a phone. Therefore, Mix Flip 2 promises to become a formidable opponent in the folding phone segment.

Besides the "terrible" battery, Mix Flip 2 is expected to be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite processor - a high -end chip on the market today.

Mix Flip 2 is rumored to have a high quality camera system with 50MP main sensor integrated with optical stabilization, accompanied by an ultra -wide 50MP camera. The device also meets IPX8 water resistance standards, promising high durability when used.

With notable upgrades about battery, performance and camera, Mix Flip 2 is emerging as a bright candidate in the race to win the title of "The best seashell folding phone in the world" by 2025.
