Apple's WWDC 2026 Global Developers Conference does not bring too many breakthrough new products. Instead, the company focuses on perfecting features that have been complained about by users or have not met expectations.
These include adjusting the Liquid Glass interface, improving the search engine, upgrading Playground and especially the new Siri version supported by artificial intelligence (AI).
However, the most notable thing at this year's event is not the new features but the way Apple presents them.
Unlike WWDC 2024, when Apple Intelligence and the new generation Siri were introduced through pre-made videos with many promises, most of this year's AI demos simulate users directly holding the device and operating in reality.
Although it is still pre-recorded video, this presentation gives the feeling that the features have fully worked on the device instead of just being a developing idea.
This change took place after a difficult period for Apple related to Apple Intelligence.
At WWDC 2026, Apple also emphasized that the new Siri will not only appear on the latest iPhone models.
According to the company, the Siri version using Apple Intelligence will support iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and the entire iPhone 16 series and above via iOS 27.
This means that many users do not need to upgrade to new devices to still be able to access new generation AI features.
Apple also said that Apple Intelligence will be deployed on many other products in the ecosystem, including iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Vision Pro.
Observers believe that the change in product presentation and expansion of device support scope shows that Apple is making efforts to restore user trust after controversies related to AI strategy in recent times.
