Present at the square on the morning of January 20, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan (65 years old, Dong Da ward) shared: "I have come to Ba Dinh Square many times, but these days the emotions are very special. The space is decorated solemnly, clean and beautiful, everywhere you look you can see brilliant flags and flowers. That makes me feel more clearly the atmosphere of a great event of the whole nation".
Meanwhile, Mr. Tran Minh Duc (35 years old, Long Bien ward) said that he and his family brought their young children to the square to both visit and educate their children about historical traditions.
The 14th Congress is a very important event, orienting the country's development in the coming time. Bringing my child to Ba Dinh Square on this occasion, I want him to feel the solemn atmosphere, so that when he grows up, he will understand the role of the Party and the significance of major policies for the future of the country" - Mr. Duc said.
