Chili tea is a unique drink, not only good for health, this tea also helps improve mood, below is how to make chili tea according to Healthshots.

Why does drinking chili tea help improve mood?

In a study published in the journal Molecules, chili pepper tea helped warm the body. The capsaicin in chili peppers is thought to increase the release of endorphins, the body's natural painkillers and mood enhancers. These feel-good neurotransmitters can help reduce stress, anxiety, and depression while also making you feel happier.

How to make chili tea

Ingredient:

125ml water

2 - 3 tea bags (black or green)

1 - 2 green chillies, chopped

1 small piece of grated ginger

Honey or sugar to taste

Milk

Making:

First, boil water in a pot.

Add tea bag, green chillies and grated ginger to boiling water.

Reduce heat and let simmer for 5 - 7 minutes or until tea reaches desired strength.

Remove tea bags, chili and ginger.

Add honey or sugar to taste. If you like your tea creamier, you can add a little milk.

Pour the tea into your favorite cup and enjoy the rich, aromatic flavor.

Things to note

If you like a mildly spicy tea, remove the chili seeds before brewing. For a spicier cup of tea, add more chili to the tea.

You can add other spices like cardamom, cinnamon or cloves to enhance the flavor of this tea.

Although this tea has many health benefits, drink it in moderation, especially if you have a sensitive stomach.
