On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), General Secretary and President To Lam wrote an article titled "Digital transformation - an important driving force for developing productive forces, perfecting production relations, bringing the country into a new era".
In particular, the General Secretary emphasized that Vietnam is facing the need for a revolution with strong and comprehensive reforms to adjust production relations and create new momentum for development. That is the digital transformation revolution, applying science and technology to restructure production relations in line with the remarkable progress of productive forces.
Not outside the digital transformation trend, many businesses in the real estate sector today have also promoted the application of technology platforms, artificial intelligence... in real estate investment, management and business.
Many fields such as building management and real estate trading have also applied technology platforms to help ensure work efficiency.
Economist, Dr. Nguyen Minh Phong, acknowledged: "Digital transformation is an unchangeable trend if we want to survive and develop in the era of technology 4.0. Sooner or later, Vietnamese real estate will have to carry out digital transformation. Therefore, the sooner the transformation, the more convenient it is, and the sooner the goal of sustainable market development can be achieved."
Dr. Nguyen Minh Phong said that in addition to helping to shorten the time, costs, and human resources in the process of researching and buying and selling real estate, digital transformation also helps the market to circulate more stably and transparently, increase liquidity, and smoothly connect supply and demand.
In particular, digital transformation in the real estate sector will help the market retain information well, thereby establishing a digital data information system - something that Vietnam has not been able to do so far.
As one of the pioneering enterprises in researching and implementing digital transformation in real estate brokerage and consulting activities, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dung, Chairman of Thien Khoi Group also shared that the application of digital technology in the real estate sector plays a very important role, especially for enterprises that want to adapt and survive in the 4.0 technology era, including the team of real estate consultants and brokers.
Accordingly, the application of digital technology will help overcome the limitations of space and time for real estate transactions. Specifically, the application of technology platforms will help work to be carried out continuously 24/7, instead of just 8 hours/day as usual.
In terms of space, instead of having to go directly to see the product, digital technology will help customers see through images, clips, digital data. Above all, customers coming to the place may not have a clear picture of the product, because surrounding facilities such as traffic infrastructure, connection locations must be viewed from above.
Thien Khoi's leaders said that the company is currently investing in research and providing technology applications to support real estate consulting, brokerage, management, investment, business, and transactions to become easier and faster.
In particular, Thien Khoi focuses on synthesizing data and analyzing data to solve technological problems most effectively, especially creating the best tools for consultants, brokers, and real estate investors in connecting supply and demand of the market. Because when the data is good, the assessments will be accurate, thereby making accurate decisions and building appropriate methods. However, this is not easy to do because the data requires constant and rapid updates to ensure timeliness and market volatility.
Many experts also agree that, although there have been many positive changes, digital transformation in the Vietnamese real estate market is generally slow because not all participants in the real estate market today are fully aware of technology. What has been deeply rooted in the subconscious is very difficult to change.
Not to mention, the real estate market currently does not have a large enough and accurate database system, so applying digital transformation is more difficult than many other fields. Therefore, it is necessary to have the most accurate information system about the market to ensure the digital transformation process takes place quickly. Along with that, there should be mechanisms to facilitate pioneering businesses to research and implement digital transformation.
