Hoa Cam Industrial Park was established according to the Government's policy in Official Dispatch No. 327/CP-CN dated March 29, 2002. Hoa Cam Industrial Park Investment Joint Stock Company officially took over and became the investor of Hoa Cam Industrial Park according to Decision No. 2768/QD-UBND dated April 3, 2008 of the People's Committee of Da Nang City.
Currently, the total planning area of Hoa Cam Industrial Park - phase 1 (including expansion) is: 149.83 hectares.
Hoa Cam Industrial Park is located in the Southwest of Da Nang City, next to National Highway 14B, part of the East-West economic corridor.
This is the only industrial park in Da Nang with a convenient traffic location, the distance from the Industrial Park to important infrastructure works of Da Nang city. Specifically, 8km from Da Nang city center, 18km from Tien Sa seaport, 5km from Da Nang International Airport, 7km from Da Nang station.
Hoa Cam Industrial Park has high terrain and is not flooded. Stable geology, good load-bearing capacity, technical infrastructure system including: traffic system, power supply, water supply and drainage, trees, etc. in the industrial park are invested synchronously to meet the needs of businesses in the industrial park.
Hoa Cam Industrial Park always prioritizes calling for investment in clean industries that do not cause environmental pollution and have advanced and modern production technology, typically electronics, mechanics, assembly and production of metal components; logistic services (warehousing and storage of goods); road freight transport; packaging, loading and unloading services and other support services related to transportation; production of electric wires and cables; electrical wiring equipment and lighting equipment; other industries.
Currently, the People's Committee of Da Nang City is implementing legal procedures for Hoa Cam Industrial Park (phase 2) according to regulations.
The Management Board of the High-Tech Park, Concentrated Information Technology Park and Industrial Parks of Da Nang recently announced the investment situation of 3 new industrial parks in the area: Hoa Nhon, Hoa Ninh, Hoa Cam - phase 2.
For Hoa Cam Industrial Park - Phase 2, implementing the decision to approve the form of selecting investors for the Hoa Cam Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction and Business Investment Project - Phase 2, in the form of open bidding, the Management Board has submitted a document to the Department of Planning and Investment requesting approval of the plan to select investors for the Hoa Cam Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction and Business Investment Project - Phase 2.
Hoa Cam Industrial Park - Phase 2, with a total area of over 120 hectares, is located in Hoa Tho Tay Ward, Cam Le District and Hoa Nhon Commune (Hoa Vang District). The total estimated cost of the project is 2,200 billion VND.
