In the warm atmosphere of Chol Cham Tham Clouds 14 students in especially difficult circumstances in Luc Si Thanh commune received extremely meaningful gifts from President Su Thich Khong Khong and benefactors of the Buddhist faith.
Each student was given a new bicycle, a means to help them shorten their distance to school, along with a cash amount of 2,600,000 VND, to partially support the cost of studying and living.
In addition, there are 50 gifts, worth from 300,000 to 500,000 VND each, which has been handed to the lonely and sick elderly people. In particular, cases of serious illness also receive practical support from 2,600,000 to 11,000,000 VND depending on the specific circumstances, helping them to reduce the burden of treatment costs.
Funding for these activities is donated by the group of Buddhists at home and abroad, in order to spread love and share difficulties with the poor, poor students, encourage students to be good at studying well, creating motivation and beliefs for the poor to rise up in life.
