11 solidarity houses and comrade houses handed over in Kien Giang

Kien Giang - The Provincial Military Command will hand over 11 solidarity houses and comrade houses in districts and cities in the province.

The Military Command of Kien Giang province has just organized a delegation of officials to hand over solidarity houses and comrade houses in Hon Dat district.

The delegation handed over the solidarity house to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ni (born in 1990) and Mr. Nguyen Van Thi (born in 1978), two families with difficult housing conditions. Each house is worth from 100 to 130 million VND, of which the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank - Kien Giang Branch supports each house with 50 million VND, the remaining amount is contributed by the family.

The delegation also came to hand over a house to professional soldier Captain Nguyen Van Truong, a soldier working at the Military Command of Hon Dat district who is currently facing housing difficulties. The house is worth over 180 million VND, of which the fund for building comrades' houses of the provincial Military Command supported 80 million VND, the remaining amount was contributed by the family.

The organization of the handover of solidarity houses and comrade houses on this occasion is a meaningful work of the Military Command of Kien Giang province. Thereby, it has contributed to the local Party Committee and government in taking care of the lives of military officers and soldiers currently working at agencies and units in the entire armed forces of the province and officers and soldiers of all periods who have retired, demobilized, and discharged from the army and have difficult housing circumstances.

This contributes to creating a close relationship with the people, helping officers and soldiers in the entire armed forces of the province feel secure in their work, ready to receive and complete well all assigned tasks.

This is also an activity to practically celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024).
