Da Nang - On August 6, Song Kon Commune People's Committee organized the issuance of 57 breeding cows to 19 households in A Pang and Bhlô Ben villages, with a total value of more than 1.5 billion VND.

These are households participating in the project to support breeding cattle under the National Target Program for socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas of Da Nang.

Before receiving cows, households are inspected for barn conditions, guided on techniques for care, nurturing and disease prevention and control to ensure that the herd grows well and promotes the effectiveness of support capital.

The total project implementation cost is more than 1.7 billion VND, of which the central budget supports more than 1.4 billion VND, the city budget more than 200 million VND and people's counterparts more than 100 million VND.

The issuance of breeding cows is expected to help households expand livestock breeding, create a stable source of income and gradually escape poverty.
