On February 5, information from Bac Kan Provincial Police said that during the 9-day Tet holiday in 2025 (from January 25 to February 2), Bac Kan Provincial authorities detected and handled 188 cases of traffic violations, temporarily detained 121 motorbikes, 2 cars and 1 other vehicle.
Of these, there were 92 cases of alcohol concentration violations, 28 cases of speeding violations, 45 cases of not having a driving license, with a total fine of more than 675 million VND.
In addition, there were 2 road traffic accidents, injuring 4 people. Compared to Lunar New Year 2024, the number of accidents decreased by 1 case and the number of injured people decreased by 1 person.
Bac Kan provincial authorities recommend that people comply with traffic safety regulations, especially not driving after drinking alcohol.
