On July 2, Economic - Defense Group 79 (Army Corps 15) held an inauguration ceremony and handed over the project "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" to the family of Ms. Ho Thi Thiec - a worker of Team 1, residing in Km14 village, Kim Ngan commune (Quang Tri province).
The project is part of the plan of the 15th Corps Command to support those with special housing difficulties in the unit and the people in the area in 2025. The KT-QP 79 Command has coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to build a house for Ms. Thiec.
The house started construction in April 2025, and has now been completed with a solid structure, including 1 living room, 2 bedrooms, 1 kitchen and auxiliary works, with a total usable area of over 110m2. The construction cost was nearly 200 million VND, of which Army Corps 15 supported 60 million VND.
The representative of the 15th Corps said that this activity not only helps workers' families have stable housing and rise up in life, but also demonstrates the affection and responsibility of the armed forces towards workers and people in the economic - defense project area.
The handover of new houses has contributed to strengthening the solidarity of the army and people in the area, creating motivation for households to strive to build an increasingly better life.
