On July 4, the Naval Region 5 Command coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to hold the inauguration ceremony and hand over 4 Company Houses in An Giang and Ca Mau provinces.

These are officers and employees with difficult housing circumstances, working at units under the Naval Region 5 Command.

After more than 3 months of construction, the solid, clean houses were completed on schedule, suitable for the conditions and needs of each family.

The construction cost was supported by the Ministry of National Defense's Fund for the Poor and the Navy's "For the Poor" Fund. Of which, 3 families were supported with 60 million VND/house from the Ministry of National Defense's Fund for the Poor, 1 family was supported with 80 million VND from the Navy's Fund for the Poor.

At the inauguration ceremony, the head of the Naval Region 5 Command and representatives of the units presented many meaningful gifts, contributing to encouraging the military families to soon stabilize their lives, work with peace of mind, and complete their assigned tasks well.

This is a practical activity towards the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; welcoming the 14th Congress of the Navy Party Committee and the 50th anniversary of the founding of Naval Region 5.
