In recent years, the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style has been synchronously implemented by trade union levels in Lao Cai province, associated with political tasks and practical activities of each agency, unit, and enterprise. Emulation movements are gradually going deeper, creating clear changes in the team of officials, union members, and workers, according to the Lao Cai electronic information portal.
Currently, the whole province has 2 professional departments, 11 commune and ward trade unions and 517 grassroots trade unions with 41,279 union members. Implementing Conclusion No. 01 of the Politburo, trade union levels proactively concretize the content of studying and following Uncle Ho with practical actions, suitable for each industry and field.
Many emulation movements such as "Good labor, creative labor", "Good at state affairs, good at housework", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring labor safety and hygiene" have been widely implemented. These movements are closely linked to professional tasks, encouraging innovation and creativity in labor and production.
In the past 5 years, the whole province has had over 3,000 recognized initiatives; nearly 400 solutions participated in the provincial-level technical innovation contest; 1,500 emulation projects and products were implemented, making a profit of nearly 21 billion VND. These figures show the clear effectiveness of bringing the content of studying and following Uncle Ho into practice, contributing to improving productivity and work efficiency.
Trade union levels also build and replicate many specific models that are easy to implement and have a spreading effect such as: "Every day remember Uncle Ho's teachings, every week a story about Uncle Ho", "Building a happy school", "Innovating style and attitude of service towards patient satisfaction", "Lighting up rural roads", "Each trade union chairman - a typical example".
In the period 2021 - 2026, the whole province deployed 370 models, built 386 advanced examples. Many models have shown clear effectiveness, and have been replicated throughout the system.
In addition, the exemplary role of cadres and party members, especially heads, is emphasized. The development of personal plans and signing commitments to cultivate and train are seriously implemented, contributing to raising responsibility and the spirit of serving the People.
In the coming time, Lao Cai Provincial Trade Union levels determine to continue to promote studying and following Uncle Ho in a more substantive direction, strongly shifting from "learning" to "following" consciously and regularly. Propaganda work is innovated in a flexible, modern direction, associated with practice; and at the same time encourage union members to promote creativity, apply science and technology, and digital transformation in labor and production.
The achieved results show that studying and following Uncle Ho has become a regular activity, contributing to building a strong trade union organization, accompanying local socio-economic development.
