Recently, Colonel Nguyen Van Han - Director of Kien Giang Provincial Police inspected the construction progress of the renovation project of the traditional house of Kien Giang Provincial Police at the Southern Central Security Department in Tan Lap commune, Tan Bien district, Tay Ninh province.
This is a project to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) directed by the Party Committee - Board of Directors of Kien Giang Provincial Public Security from the contribution of the Provincial Public Security officers and soldiers. In addition to preserving and promoting historical values, the project also has the meaning of honoring the achievements, sacrifices and contributions of generations of Kien Giang Provincial Public Security Forces in the cause of protecting national security.
Colonel Nguyen Van Han carefully inspected the construction items including: Memorial House, Tam Quan Gate, toilets, reliefs, victory monuments... and requested the construction unit to complete the items on schedule, ensuring quality, aesthetics and traditional significance.
The project has a construction cost of about 2.5 billion VND, started in December 2024, and is expected to be inaugurated in March 2025. The project not only contributes to preserving and promoting good traditional values, improving the cultural and spiritual life of officers and soldiers, but is also a place to welcome delegations to visit and learn about the process of building, fighting, and growing up of Kien Giang Provincial Police.
This is also a "red address" to organize political activities, improve the effectiveness of political and ideological education and traditions for officers and soldiers in the provincial police force.
